The trial of a man charged with the murder of two best friends on South Bend's west side has also been postponed to February.

Dabian Boyd, 18, faces two murder charges for the may shooting deaths of his cousin Mercede Newbill, 22, Kalyn Farmer, 21.

The trial is expected to begin February 11th, at the defense's request.
