The trial of a South Bend man accused of murder, originally scheduled for next week, has been moved to December because of scheduling issues.

James Bond Jr. was in court Thursday. He is charged with the murder of Ramon Hamilton in April 2011.

It happened on Leland and Lindsey in South Bend. Police say Hamilton died of multiple gunshots wounds.

After a long investigation, they charged Bond with the crime. If convicted, Bond could spend more than 80 years behind bars.

The trial is expected to get underway on December 10.
