Send Great American Smokeout urgers smokers to kick the habit

The American Cancer Society celebrates the 37th annual Great American Smokeout on November 15.

Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center and Tobacco Free St. Joseph County ask residents to quit smoking and make a plan to quit permanently.

They say just this one day is a step towards a healthier future and lower cancer risk.

Assistance is always available on the free Indiana Tobacco Quit line at 1-800-QUIT-NOW.

Plus SJRMC will host classes to help Michiana quit, starting in January.
