2-story home burned in South Bend

An investigation is underway into what caused a fire at a home on south St. Joseph Street in South Bend on Friday night.

Firefighters became aware of the blaze shortly after 10p.m.

The home was vacant and no one was hurt, but there was extensive damage to the home.
