A Warsaw man is facing drug charges after police found more than 11 pounds of marijuana in the trunk of his car.

Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a domestic argument in a car Sunday night at around 6 p.m. in the area of County Road 200 North and Bell Drive, on the north side of Warsaw. Police located the driver of the vehicle in question. After finding that Travis James Johnson’s license was suspended, a deputy patted him down for weapons and found a bag filled with marijuana. Authorities later impounded Johnson’s car and found a large package containing approximately 11.4 pounds of marijuana in the trunk.

Johnson faces preliminary charges of intent to deal marijuana and driving while suspended. He is being held at the Kosciusko County Jail without bond.
