this is so rydickulous. why must a fortune 500 co need tax abatements? this is the govt the peeps voted in.welcome to the new world order. this will be protested.

Don't forget the incompetent management staff, poor manufacturing standards, and there is a reason they are losing to foreign companies and it’s not because they make it cheaper, it’s because they make it smarter

I'd say there better be a real "strong likelihood" that production would be in South Bend. It seems unlikely that the city will see tax benefits that outweigh the abatement being given to Federal Mogul.
