Some vehicles do go over the speed limit but ALL MOTORCYCLISTS EXCEED THE SPEED LIMIT. I have never, ever in 45 years of driving seen any motorcycle at the speed limit. BTW: you don't claim that motorcyclists don't speed, you just turn it around on the cars. Do you think that maybe that's just the point: speed kills when one is on a motorcycle, especially without a helmet! What a moronic moron!

Come on....motorcyclists going the speed limit? When did that happen?

My choice is to NOT keep my thoughts to myself: wear a helmet so I don't have to pay for a lifetime of vegetative medical care for ya ....and go the speed limit!

to all thge people that have a problem with bikers.. Not all of us are as inconciderate and careless as the ones being described.Yes Some of them have no regard for others but the same goes for people in their vehicles. Many drivers do not look out for the bikers. Unless you own a bike or are a passanger on one keep your thoughts on weather or not WE should bear a helmet to yourself. Its OUR choice to make. Think about it next time you pull your car out in front of one of us.

Never seen a motorcyclist driving defensively. Worst ones are on them crotch rockets. They should be outlawed.

Boohoo it's not a helmet that causes an accident it's usually vehicles not driving and paying attentions to there surroundings. Most motorcycle accidents are caused by car or truck not paying attention. People drink and drive, text and drive and don't have to prepay extra insurance like us bikers now have to do if we choose to wear a helmet or not. If a car hits your child and disables them just remember us bikers have charity runs to support the foundation to help your child out.

Riddle me this: anyone ever seen a motorcyclist going at or below the speed limit?

Just another fine way to weed out the gene pool. Make it ALL optional. Our gene pool is really mucked up and could use a good cleaning!

And as nice as Harleys may or may not be, I'm tired of the motorcyclists who pass cars in the middle of double lanes, cut me off on the toll road, make their own special parking spots, etc, etc.

As long as those who decide not to wear 'em also sign off on a waiver for medical expenses!

Best comment on here! Obviously because it is the most logical!

Yes, seat belts should be an option, not a law!!!
Posted by: No Belt on Apr 14, 2012 at 11:42 AM

I agree with you... Seat belts should be a choice also... I don't wear one either because of a couple of accidents I've had where if I had been wearing one I would have been killed... For that reason I don't wear one and shouldn't be forced to wear one facing a ticket everytime I don't....
Posted by: No Belt on Apr 14, 2012 at 11:36 AM

Your the moron. Check out the facts for yourself and I'm not talking about the propaganda the government wants you to believe... Just talk to some attorneys and see for youself..... Yes, in some cases seat belts do help but in more cases than not they don't.... They should be a matter of choice!!!
