UPDATE 5/16:
Peterson's sentencing has been rescheduled for June 22.

ORIGINAL STORY:
The former president of a local bank, who is accused of molesting a young girl in her Granger home is expected to face a judge Wednesday for sentencing.

William Peterson had initially been charged with child molestation, when he was allegedly found with his hands down the pants of a 6-year-old girl in 2008.

Peterson was fired from the St. Joseph-based Edgewater Bank shortly after his arrest.

Last May, Peterson pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of sexual battery, but a judge found that Peterson did not live up to the terms in his plea agreement in April of this year.

He faces up to 11 years in prison.
