Friday in court, the man charged in connection with Gregory Piechocki death learned his fate.
A judge has sentenced Douglas Guilmette to 92 years behind bars for the murder of Gregory Piechocki, Junior. Last month a jury found the 39-year-old guilty on all counts, of murder, theft and being a habitual offender.
About a year and a half ago, Piechocki was found beaten to death in a bed at a home on Bouth Walnut Street.
Charging documents say Guilmette murdered Piechocki following an argument, and then went to several local stores, where he stole alcohol, movies and a cell phone.
