Emotional last pep rally for senior class Friday
Brian Kelly talks about finishing strong

The Notre Dame football team celebrated its final pep rally, honoring its seniors Friday night at Purcell Pavilion.

Captains Manti Te'o, Kapron Lewis-Moore, Tyler Eifert and Zach Martin spoke to the capacity crowd as the 10-0 3rd ranked Irish get set to close out the home season Saturday at 3:30 at the Stadium against 5-5 Wake Forest.

"On November 21, 2008 I sat on those chairs right there on my official visit here to Notre Dame," Te'o said pointing to the seats. "And it was a senior day as well. I never would have thought that I would be standing here in front of all you guys on my senior day, getting ready for my senior day."

Te'o has about 40 family members in town for the game.

Irish coach Brian Kelly stressed to fans what he stressed to his team--let the emotions wait for after the game. During the game, have fun and cheer loudly.

Countdown to Kickoff gets you started at 2:30 on Channel 16.
