It’s never too late to start eating right and exercising.

A new study took 17 obese men and women, who are over 65, and enrolled them in a diet and group exercise program.

Those who cut calories and attended exercise class lost over 8 percent of their body weight, and had better cholesterol and blood pressure levels.

Experts say the study helps calm fears that diet and exercise is not beneficial among older adults.
