Survey Finds Many Incorrectly Follow Medicine Labels

Millions of people take prescription drugs every day.

But a new survey finds many people are not taking their medicine correctly.

Researchers found that could be because many people have trouble following the directions on the labels.

Researchers found correct understanding of medication labels ranged from 67% to 91%, mainly depending on literacy level.

Most of the problems related to taking the right dosage.

A common problem was taking a tablespoon instead of a teaspoon.
