New research brings hopeful news in the fight against colon cancer.
British researchers say they are working on a vaccine that helps prompt the immune systems in colorectal cancer patients, which would help fight the diseased cells.
Small studies, made up of 67 patients were given the vaccine before and after surgery to remove cancerous tumors.
70% of the patients showed and increase in their immune cells production because of the vaccine.
