Too much time in front of the TV could have an effect on your child's mental health.

If you have tried to limit tube time, two new studies will help prove your point.

A survey out of Montefiore in New York says more weekday TV time means poorer school performance.

Kids who watched r rated television did the worst in class.

Experts say to limit portion sizes even when it comes to TV. "Talk about it as parents today need to be thinking about their children's media diet. It's just like we're trying to get them to eat healthier food," Dr. Jane Brown, of University of North Carolina said.

The American Academy of pediatrics says parents should limit screen time to one or two hours each day.

Remember screen time is not just TV time, it is DVD and Video Game time too.
