Hearing for mom, son in fatal shooting of girl, 12
Detroit A 19-year-old man and his 35-year-old mother have been arraigned in the death of a 12-year-old Detroit girl who was shot during a dispute over a cellphone.

A 19-year-old man and his 35-year-old mother have been arraigned in the death of a 12-year-old Detroit girl who was shot during a dispute over a cellphone.
Kade'jah Davis was killed Tuesday by shots fired through the door of her home. She was on the honor roll at University Yes Academy in Detroit.
Joshua Brown is charged with first-degree murder. Heather Brown
is charged with being an accessory after the fact, accused of driving him to and from the killing.
The Browns were arraigned Sunday by video in Detroit District Court. Magistrate Steve Lockhart set a $50,000 bond for Heather Brown and ordered Joshua Brown held without bond.
Phone and fax messages were left Sunday for Heather Brown lawyer
Joshua Gordon. It's unknown if Joshua Brown has a lawyer.
