Girl, 13, collapses in gym class, later dies
Fraser, Mich. Authorities were awaiting results of an autopsy Friday to help determine why a 13-year-old girl died after collapsing during a gym class at a Detroit area school.

Authorities were awaiting results of an autopsy Friday to help determine why a 13-year-old girl died after collapsing during a gym class at a Detroit area school.
Sharon Arwood was running in Fraser's Richards Middle School, north of Detroit, when she fell to the floor Thursday afternoon.
WDIV-TV in Detroit reports that two teachers gave the girl aid and paramedics arrived within a few minutes. Fraser police say she was later pronounced dead at a Mount Clemens hospital.
A school district official said the school had not been told the girl had any prior health concerns.
Robert and Barb Arwood told WXYZ-TV their daughter was healthy and received a physical each year.
