Authorities in Isabella County are awaiting results of an autopsy on the body of an Oakland County man reported missing nearly six weeks ago.
Sheriff Leo Mioduszewski says police discovered the body of 22-year-old Matthew O. Poole of Wolverine Lake on Thursday night in a field Union Township, about 130 miles nothwest of his hometown.
Mioduszewski says he doesn't think foul play was involved.
Police say Poole was visiting friends at Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant before he was reported missing Feb. 6.
The sheriff says Poole was last seen a night earlier at a nearby convenience store, and had been turned away from two bars for being visibly intoxicated earlier that evening.
