Police say two men kept a woman captive in their Lake Orion home for nearly two months and repeatedly sexually assaulted her.
Fifty-four-year-old Leon Setty and 47-year-old Frank Bennett were arraigned Wednesday on charges of third-degree criminal sexual conduct. Setty faces four counts and Bennett faces five counts.
Lake Orion Police Chief Jerry Narsh tells The Oakland Press of Pontiac the woman, a 52-year-old Orion Township resident, moved into the house as a live-in caretaker in September. Narsh says she was beaten and sexually assaulted on a daily basis.
Both men are being held on $1 million bond and are due back in district court in Rochester Hills on Nov. 17 for a pre-exam conference.
Neither had an attorney on record with the court.
