Vice President Joseph Biden is heading to Michigan to help raise money for two Democratic congressmen.
U.S. Reps. Gary Peters of Oakland County's Bloomfield Township and Mark Schauer of Battle Creek are co-hosting the Monday morning Michigan Democratic Party fundraising breakfast at Detroit's MGM Grand Hotel.
Both are freshmen elected in 2008 who are expected to face tough challenges in 2010.
The party said Wednesday that tickets are $1,000. A VIP reception costs $5,000.
A request for additional details was left Wednesday afternoon with the White House.
Biden last visited Michigan on Aug. 5 to announce in Detroit that Michigan companies would get a large share of federal grants being awarded to develop next-generation electric vehicles and batteries.
