The Ferris State University Board of Trustees has approved a 5.33 percent tuition increase for the 2009-10 academic year.
The increases were approved Wednesday.
WOOD-TV says to help offset the increases, the school will rebate students all the economic stimulus funds it expects to receive.
School officials say that amounts to a net tuition increase of 3.67 percent for resident undergraduates, or an additional $11 per credit hour.
