Vehicle flips on icy Alpena County road, killing 2
Green Township, MI A mix of rain and snow has been falling across Michigan, and hazardous roads are blamed for the deaths of two men in the northern Lower Peninsula.

A mix of rain and snow has been falling across Michigan, and hazardous roads are blamed for the deaths of two men in the northern Lower Peninsula.
The Alpena County sheriff's department says a vehicle rolled over on icy Michigan 32 Thursday morning in Green Township, about 190 miles north of Detroit.
The department tells The Alpena News the crash killed 32-year-old driver Roy Kraft of Spruce and 49-year-old James Fettes Jr. of Alpena and injured 47-year-old James Fettes of Alpena.
The National Weather Service says the Mackinac Bridge region could see up to 10 inches of snow.
Temperatures ranged widely at 11 p.m. Thursday, from 9 degrees at Houghton and Hancock to 52 at Coldwater, Lambertville, Marshall and Sturgis.
