A second man wanted in the beating of an 83-year-old World War II veteran has been arraigned on torture, armed robbery, and other charges.
The Detroit News reports that 32-year-old Noah Richard Lovell III surrendered Tuesday to Michigan State Police in Brighton.
The Grand Rapids man also is charged with unlawful imprisonment and home invasion in the late October attack on John Pickett in his Genoa Township home, about 35 miles northwest of Detroit.
Harry T. Riley is expected to be returned to Michigan to face similar charges. The 37-year-old drifter was arrested last week near Lincoln, Nebraska. U.S. marshals had been tracking Riley before his arrest.
Pickett was duct-taped, kicked, beaten and robbed of $70.
