A southwest Michigan woman fed up with living so close to a preschool playground has installed a surveillance camera to keep an eye on what goes on with the tykes.
School officials in Douglas didn't like the idea and put up a piece of plywood to obstruct the camera's view.
Kate Casey tells WWMT-TV she put up the camera last month to monitor the property line. She says her property has been vandalized, and the playground at the Douglas Elementary Early Childhood Center is too noisy.
Saugatuck Public Schools Superintendent Tim Wood says officials put up the plywood because they didn't want kids being filmed.
Authorities say the camera is legal. Casey says she plans to keep it up until there's some kind of resolution.
