Two people have been arrested in the fatal shooting of a 12-year-old Detroit girl.
Police say the arrests were made Wednesday morning.
The girl was shot Tuesday night after her mother got into an argument with two acquaintances at her northwest side home.
Police Sgt. Eren Stephens says the girl's mother was arguing with a man and woman that she knew before the shooting. Stephens says the argument escalated into shots being fired into the home and the girl was hit multiple times.
Police say they believed the man may have fired the shots.
