If you plan to hit the road this Labor Day weekend you will have smooth traveling in the Wolverine State.
The Michigan Department of Transportation is suspending major road projects over the weekend.
They hope the lack of delays will encourage more tourism, and prevent traffic nightmares.
But, there will still be a few projects that cannot be shut down.
Some of them in the Michiana include I-94 between mile markers four and six in Berrien County, where the road will be down to two lanes.
The other will be US-12 at the Galien River, where traffic will alternate in one lane.
