Vanderburgh Co. leads state in meth lab seizures
EVANSVILLE, Ind.

Meth lab arrests have seemed more and more common in Michiana.
While Elkhart and Kosciusko Counties rank high, one other county tops them all.
State police say Vanderburgh County in southern Indiana led the state in the most methamphetamine labs seized last year, the second straight year it's earned that distinction.
State police report the county that is home to Evansville had 116 meth labs found there in 2011. That's up from county 95 a year earlier.
Elkhart had the second most with 71, followed by Kosciusko County with 58.
Bartholomew County in central Indiana was next with 57, and Decatur County in eastern Indiana with 55.
The next five were Monroe (54), Madison (49), Jennings (42) and Marshall and Howard (41 each) counties.
Warren County in western Indiana and Ohio County in southeastern Indiana had no reports of meth labs being seized last year.
