Demetrius Jackson scored 30 points as Marian pulled away in the 4th quarter to beat Mishawaka 77-64 at Marian Friday night.
It was the 8th straight win for the Knights, who remained a game back of Washington for first in the Northern Indiana Conference. The Panthers are the last team to beat Marian. Chris Mitchell scored 30 points for the Cavemen who lost for the first time in four games.
Notre Dame coach Mike Brey was in attendance to watch Jackson, who scored 24 of his points in the 1st three quarters. Brey was joined by his back court, Eric Atkins and Jerrian Grant.
