Middlebury Police are warning Michiana residents to keep an eye out for credit card scams.
Police have recently received numerous reports regarding phone calls claiming that credit or debit cards had been frozen.
The automated call requests the customer's card number, expiration date, and pin in order to reactivate the card.
Police warn this is a scam as banks will never ask for information in this way. If you have received a similar call, contact your bank immediately.
