Michigan City holds parade for Pop Warner Junior Peewee National Champs
Michigan City, Ind. The Michigan City Pop Warner Junior Peewee football team won the National Championship in Orlando, Fla. and a parade was held in their honor.

The Michigan City Pop Warner Junior Peewee football team won the National Championship in Orlando, Fla. and a parade was held in their honor.
The Junior Peewee cheerleading squad also took away third place.
The teams and community supporters got together to celebrate with a parade through the town.
"This is an awesome day. We couldn't be prouder of our coaches, our teams, our community, our help. It's just been a really great thing for Michigan City, and our youth,” says Carla Shepherd.
Parents and coaches said they were so proud that the relatively small town of Michigan City, Ind. was represented so well on the national stage.
