A potential Republican candidate for the governor's race has announced she will not be running.
Lieutenant Governor Becky Skillman announced Monday morning she will not seek to replace Governor Mitch Daniels.
In a statement released by her office, Skillman says her end of year physical exam revealed minor health issues.
Although these issues will not affect her serving in her current position, she believes it would be best to avoid the stress of a possible gubernatorial race.
