A Winona Lake man was arrested Wednesday night after an undercover Drug Task Force busted him for having a meth lab in his home, just down the street from a school.
The Kosciusko County Officer was patrolling the area, when he smelled a strong odor near Chestnut and 14th Street.
An investigation led officers to the nearby home of 60-year-old Richard green.
With a search warrant in hand, officers say they found an active one-pot meth lab in a mason jar inside his residence.
Green was taken into custody and is now facing preliminary felony charges of making meth within one-thousand feet of a school.
He was being held without bond Thursday morning.
