Thanks to the 900 people and 80 teams that struck gold for The first ever Hearts of Gold Walk for Memorial Children's Hospital.
Memorial was humbled by the turnout and says the nearly 60-thousand dollar raised far exceeded their wildest dreams. The money raised will be used to expand critical care for children in our area. Memorial has the only children's hospital in our region.
Folks of all ages showed up in team t-shirts, with decorated caps and strollers to support the Hearts of Gold Walk at University Park Mall.
If you missed the walk but still want to donate you can go the link at the bottom of this story.
