A former fire captain has been charged after receiving topless photos of a minor.
Former St. Joseph City Fire Department captain Scott Moore, 47, faces two counts of accosting a minor for immoral purposes and two counts of using a computer to commit a crime.
Moore is accused of having a 15-year-old girl send him topless photos of herself on a cell phone and asking her to expose her breasts to him during online video chat sessions last summer.
Each count of accosting a minor for immoral purposes carries a maximum sentence of four years in jail. Each count of using a computer to commit a crime carries a max sentence of seven years in jail.
Moore reached a voluntary separation agreement with the City of St. Joseph in October, 2011.
He is expected to turn himself in to authorities. His arraignment will be scheduled within the week.
