Congressman Donnelly holds foreclosure assistance workshop

Indiana 2nd District Congressman Joe Donnelly held a foreclosure assistance workshop this evening at the St. Joseph County Library.

Lenders from Wells Fargo, Bank of America, and Chase were on hand to help guide homeowners in the right direction and let them know that they do not have to lose their homes.

Notre Dame Professor Judy Fox says, “So often, people don't react or don't take action until it is too late to help them. So, as soon as you know you’re in trouble, if you reach out to the housing counselors, or to a law office, or to somebody that can help you, the bank especially, you’re going to be in better position.”
