Two Berrien County brothers are in custody after police say they attempted to stab someone on the campus of Andrews University and committed a slew of robberies and break-ins.

24-year-old Johnathan Stefanovic and his brother, 19-year-old David Stefanovic were both arrested Tuesday night.

David Stefanovic was a student at Andrews University.

Police say the two attempted to stab a pizza delivery man at Bremen Hall on the campus of Andrews University on November 29.

Johnathan Stefanovic is charged with stealing a vehicle from Premier Tool and Die. He also faces five counts of breaking and entering and an assault with a deadly weapon charge.

Police say Johnathan also admitted to stealing items on multiple occasions from Right Aid, Apple Valley, Dollar General, Express Mart and Harding's.

David Stefanovic is charged with one count of breaking and entering and assault with a deadly weapon.

Both men are from Oronoko Township and are being held at the Berrien County Jail.
