This Friday, boxing is coming to Purcell Pavilion.
On Wednesday, some big Notre Dame names came out in support of the event.
The fight will benefit South Bend's Robinson Learning Center and the Ara Parseghian Foundation.
Ara spoke before a crowd on Wednesday. He was joined by Notre Dame researchers and former Irish basketball coach Digger Phelps.
They are working to drum up support for Friday's event.
On Tuesday, boxer Mike Lee held a public workout, and he got to meet kids from the Robinson Learning Center, which he says was a great experience.
Lee says, "They loved it. The smiles on their faces were pretty incredible, and they actually came in the ring for a little photo shoot. I got to sign all their t-shirts, and they were really pumped up. It's days like that that make all the days training in Houston worth it."
Tickets are still available through the Notre Dame ticket office.
It's just $15 for students and $30 to $50 for the general public.
Regis Philbin will be in town to emcee the event.
