Hoosier lawyers have been doing more than preparing cases and going to court.
They have been raising money to feed the hungry.
Attorney General Greg Zoeller took a trip to South Bend Tuesday to congratulate the office of Tuesley Hall Konopa.
The South Bend law firm took part in the annual March against Hunger Challenge and won the small firm division.
They held a Thanksgiving open house, where they collected much of their donations.
Those involved say they are happy to give back to the community.
Tom Hall of Tuesley Hall Konopa LLP said, “That's part of our oath. We are here to help people. That's part of our goal. Yes, things get adversarial sometimes, but our real role and particularly at this firm is to do everything we can within reason to help the community."
Across the state, Attorney General Zoeller's drive raised more than 140,000 lbs. of food.
