A student at Andrews University has begun a blanket drive for those in need this winter.
Dragos Prahoveanu created the "Stay Warm Project" in an effort to collect blankets for those in need this winter.
Prahoveanu said his goal is to collect 250 blankets between November 20 and the beginning of January for those in need.
Donation boxes have been set up around Andrews University.
The donated blankets will be given to local shelters in towns like Niles, Mich. and Benton Harbor, Mich.
Monetary donations are also being accepted.
If you are interested in helping or looking for more information about the project, contact Dragos at (248) 974-5887, e-mail him at staywarmnow@gmail.com, or access the project’s Facebook page by searching for "Stay Warm" on Facebook.
