A Michiana college student will be spending the weekend perfecting his vocal chords, all because he's made it to the finals of a popular NBC singing show.
Andrews University grad student Geston Pierre has been competing on "The Sing-Off" with his A-capella group "Committed". They are a Christian group made up of members from around the country.
Wednesday night, "Committed" advanced to the finals along with three other groups. They wowed the judges with their rendition of Al Green's "Let's Stay Together".
The show started with 10 groups and is now down to four. It's up to the viewers to pick the winner.
If you'd like to vote for Pierre's group, you can call 1-877-6-SING-01 or submit your entry online. We have a link for that site at the Big Red Bar.
The live finale of "The Sing-Off" is Monday at 8 p.m. on NBC.
