Local company celebrates anniversary with visit from Congressman Upton
Bridgman, MI While most companies are trying to make cutbacks and consolidate a local company has expanded by 300 percent.

While most companies are trying to make cutbacks and consolidate a local company has expanded by 300 percent.
B & L Information Systems, based in Bridgman, provides an enterprise resource planning package to metal casting companies throughout North America.
Thursday, Congressman Fred Upton paid a visit to B & L to give his congratulations on a successful year.
"Well you know we have so many tool and die manufacturers here in southwest Michigan really throughout all of Michiana and when you have a company that can expand their market 300 percent in just a year, using the tools, high speed internet access to really lower the cost of these manufacturers, more efficient, better competing with firms all around the world. This is a great success story,” Rep. Upton said.
Thursday, also marks the 34th Anniversary of the company's establishment.
