Classic cars rolled into Century Center this weekend for the 50th anniversary of the Cavalcade of Wheels.
The three day event features hundreds of different makes and models, from muscle cars to the General Lee from the TV show "Dukes of Hazard."
In a country where cars have always been cool, this show is a great way to rev up an appreciation of auto history in kids.
“It's great to come out and teach your kids about one of the most historic eras in our nation, which was the muscle car era, something that other countries are trying to duplicate that we're known for and you know what, frankly, it's pretty cool,” said Brenda Gaugler of Coachmen Auto Club
The Cavalcade of Wheels is put on every year by the Coachmen Auto Club.
The show continues Sunday from 10:00 to 6:00 and concludes with the awards presentation for the show's best cars.
