Those winter blues seem to have washed away during this nice stint of warmer temperatures.
It’s more than half way through the month of March, and we've had no snow at all. That's not typical, but the month isn't over yet.
It was in the low 60's at 7:00 Thursday night, so of course people are thinking Spring. From outdoor dining, running around the park, and putting on spring clothes, people felt really comfortable in this new routine.
Warm, sunny temperatures, good buddies, beer, and a bite to eat made everything seem so much easier outside at Main St. Pub after watching the Fighting Irish basketball season end.
Andy Dietler says, “It was a tough loss for Notre Dame, but hopefully the rest of the day is beautiful like it’s been like this.”
Dietler's appetite when he heard the news that outdoor dining probably won't be an option this weekend.
At Leeper Park, Rhonda Ludy was enjoying the night with her grandson. He was tired of being stuck inside all winter.
Though, he still had his winter hat handy. Severe Weather Expert Mike Hoffman says that's a good idea, because white may be on it's way this weekend.
In fact, the number of nights like this we've seen in March, aren't typical. Usually, there's about nine inches of snowfall. We've had zero.
One year-old Savannah Bigelow's mom is keeping her fingers crossed that zero snowfall stays, because now that she's been introduced to the park, mom's afraid to keep her indoors this weekend.
“The kids are a little bit hyper. They've been cooped up all winter and ready to go. She's not able to sit still. I'm crossing my fingers. I don't want any white.”
The only cold and white thing people seemed to want in March was vanilla ice cream. The line outside Ritter’s was long.
