Man accused in South Bend stabbing deemed competent to stand trial
South Bend, IN A New Orleans man accused of stabbing a Michiana man in his sleep has been deemed competent to stand trial.

A New Orleans man accused of stabbing a Michiana man in his sleep has been deemed competent to stand trial.
26-year-old Dellano Morris is charged with attempted murder, burglary and battery.
In June 2009, Morris allegedly walked into an unlocked apartment in the 3600 block of Generations Drive in South Bend. Once inside, police say Morris stabbed 22-year-old Pierre Greer in his back and head.
Greer was treated at the hospital and released.
The men did not know each other.
Morris will head to trial on March 7th.
