Beloved ND philosophy professor passes away
South Bend, IN A long-time and much beloved Notre Dame professor has passed away.

A long-time and much beloved Notre Dame professor has passed away.
According to Palmer Funeral Home, 80-year-old Dr. Ralph McInerny passed away January 29th at Our Lady of Peace Hospital in Mishawaka.
Dr. McInerny was at Notre Dame from 1955 until he retired last year. He's remembered for his two dozen scholarly books, more than 50 novels, and poems penned during 53 years in the Notre Dame Philosophy Department.
