The LaPorte County judge accused of lying about a shooting at her home is now facing disciplinary charges from the Indiana Commission on judicial qualifications.
34-year-old Jennifer Evans-Koethe is facing criminal charges for obstruction of justice. Now, she also faces three counts of judicial misconduct.
The charges stem from a shooting in 2008.
Prosecutors in the criminal case say Evans-Koethe lied about how her head was grazed by a bullet, and she is accused of hiding evidence against her husband.
Her trial was moved from LaPorte to Lake County in July and her trial is set to start in January.
