It's been a wintery mess with high winds, snow, and frigid temperatures. It all made for a terrible combination.
While the wintery mix put some in the Christmas spirt,.this weather just blew eveybody away.
“It’s a bit chilly and nippy. And really hard.. yeah really hard to walk,” says two brothers enjoying a warm drink at the South Bend Chocolate Café.
Flags were practically flying off their poles at the College Football Hall of Fame.
The waves came crashing down in Lake Michigan in St. Joseph.
In fact with such high winds trees were down and taking power lines with them.
In Kosciusko County about two thousand customers were without power on Wednesday afternoon.
The slick roads caused several accidents also.
Several people were prepared for the weather though.
“I've lived up here my whole life I'm pretty much used to it. It has to get real cold before it bothers me,” says one driver filling up on gas at Phillips 66.
