Healthy Life Bread's Gift of Compassion Contest is giving away
30 gift packages to people affected by breast cancer.
One of the contest winners, Linda McLaughlin, lost her mother to breast cancer in august.
She was presented with her gift package today at Martin's Supermarket in South Bend.
It includes a visa gift card, a year's supply of bread, a gas card, and a spa gift card. Here's a slice of good news, Linda plans on sharing her winnings.
"I think it's wonderful. It’s wonderful when the community comes together, companies corporations come together and show their support and care for their customers and act on it. Lewis Company has done that and I'm very grateful and can't wait to be a little elf and give out certificates," contest winner Linda McLaughlin said.
Healthy Life Bread is baked by Lewis Bakeries the largest wholesale bakery in Indiana.
