Speculation of who will replace Weis running rampant
there's a report on a website called irishcentral.com Wednesday that Kelly is the man. The website is sort of like TMZ for Irish-American culture. Irishcentral.com also publishes on flight information from New York to Dublin.

Wednesday was the day for those dreaded dueling sources in terms of the Irish football coaching search.
Two sources to whom I spoke had directly opposite information on one of those thought to be in the running to succeed Charlie Weis---Cincy coach Brian Kelly.
And then there's a report on a website called irishcentral.com Wednesday that Kelly is the man. The website is sort of like TMZ for Irish-American culture. Irishcentral.com also publishes on flight information from New York to Dublin.
In other words, it's not really a site devoted to sports, let alone college football, but if you treat St. Patrick's Day with the same fervor as your wedding day or the birth of your children, it's for you.
Then there are stories circulating out of Cincinnati that Kelly has or will sign a contract extension to stay at UC to coach the Bearcats.
I spoke with a source in Cincinnati who told me they've been hearing the rumors but have no credible evidence either way.
Notre Dame Athletic Director Jack Swarbrick said on Wednesday that there are far more people being mentioned for the school's head coaching job than there are candidates.
Swarbrick He began reaching out to candidates Tuesday, and said he is consulting with a search firm.
