If you had plans to go to Potato Creek State Park this week you may have to put them off. That's because the DNR is holding the second of two controlled deer hunts Monday and Tuesday.
The hunts are done to preserve the ecosystems in the parks, that can be harmed by deer. Potato Creek is one of 17 Indiana parks participating in the hunt.
It's limited to only those hunters who applied and were accepted.
