An ambulance service out of Coloma, Michigan is flooded with phone calls from the wrong number after a cable network accidentally gives it out.
Wednesday night during the Cartoon Network “Ben 10”, a toll-free number was given out as part of a Dodge Charger give away.
Viewers started calling the number, which was the same number for Coloma's CEMS Medical Transport service.
By the end of the night, dispatchers had answered nearly 1000 phone calls when they usually only get around 60.
The company tried calling Cartoon Network to get the number off the air, but couldn't get through to anyone.
The funny mistake turned serious when the phone calls wouldn't stop and dispatchers were afraid they would miss an emergency call.
No word on whether the network corrected the number yet or if the giveaway is over.
